Be My Pippa!
I got married in March of this year. Pinterest was a huge help to discovering new ideas and being inspired to create my own! During the wedding-planning process I felt like starting a blog but didn't for lack of time and just because I wanted to keep an element of surprise for guests... So, here I am exactly 6 months later and ready to share my wedding planning tips and ideas!
FIRST wedding idea!
My best ideas come to me in dreams, like as I'm dozing off to sleep or immediately upon waking up- and that's exactly how I thought of this idea for asking my MOH and only bridesmaid to be my attendant- Be My Pippa?
I asked her less than a year after the Royal Wedding, so the Pippa phenomena was fresh. Kate Middleton had one attendant & so did I! Keep it simple, intimate & classy.
I asked with gluten free cupcakes (my Pippa is gluten free) delivered by Sprinkles cupcakes in Huntington Beach, CA. Their website makes it super easy to set-up delivery from across the country. So, I surprised her at work. I customized with letter toppers: BE MY PIPPA! Then I created a funny little card to accompany them with our faces Photoshopped on a Royal Wedding photo. Hilarious!

Of course she said yes!

Chunky Peanut Butter [doggie] freezer treats!
This recipe is for the fur babies!!!
If you have opposable thumbs & a friend with a waggly tail, go ahead and mix up this simple concoction.
This is absolutely great in the summer- Chunk LOVES frozen snacks year round too! These little treats are filled with things safe for dogs. You of course can make adjustments to what you have available, I just like to use this recipe as a guide because sometimes I forget a simple little ingredient when I'm in a hurry. Use this as a guideline.
Also, it's called "Chunky" only because my dog is named Chunky. I'm not sure you want to use chunky peanut butter, I always use organic, limited-ingredient peanut butter for Chunk.
I eye-ball the amount of ingredients and mix them in my trustworthy Magic Bullet.

1 banana
Greek yogurt
Honey
Peanut Butter (creamy)
No Sugar Added Applesauce
Freeze & Serve!
Spinach Dressing for 2!
It's just my husband & me [well, and Chunk].
I'm always cooking for two.
I find it super easy and CHEAP, though!
Sometimes there are recipes that have to be adjusted for two. I like to buy organic spinach in those plastic containers and throw together this quick salad. We absolutely never use ketchup in this house [something about it being anti-Chicagoan? I just don't care for the taste], but we have to keep it around for this salad dressing...

Hi! My first post! +Apartment Life!
Hi!
Welcome! Welcome! Welcome!
This is my first post here on SaraLovesChunk! I decided to make my own blog instead of posting things directly to Pinterest, just to give myself a collection of sorts of my life, my ideas and things I've been working on. Please bear with me as I begin to build my blog, I'm going to be posting simple things first just to get things rolled out & build content.
Thanks for visiting.
First, I keep seeing cleaning schedules while perusing through Pinterest; however, most of them seem to be for people living in houses or multi-level homes. That's great if you're living in a huge house... but I'm not. I'm in a third-story condo. SO, I made some adjustments & brainstormed and came up with this:
A cleaning schedule for "apartment living" (although if you have a house, you probably could use it, too.) It's something I hope to make a routine. Completing these tasks under 30 minutes seems so easy! You have weekends off!!! Fabulous.
Let me know what works for you! Do you have a schedule? Do you want one?
